Dr. John Iwasaki
Dr. John Iwasaki specializes in Pediatric Dentistry at Dental Associates. Dr. Iwasaki received his Bachelor of Arts degree at Grinnell College in Iowa; his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Colorado Dental School; and his Master of Science in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His residency was served at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill--Memorial Hospital. This was followed by a Cerebral Palsy Fellowship.
Before joining Dental Associates in 1996, Dr. Iwasaki’s professional experience included a private pediatric dental practice in North Carolina, and a private pediatric dental practice in Danbury, Connecticut. He is an attending dentist at Danbury Hospital, currently serving as section chief of Pediatric Dentistry, and is former President of the Connecticut Society of Pediatric Dentists. Dr. Iwasaki has published clinical research articles on the subject of pediatric sedation monitoring.
Dr. Iwasaki is a member of these professional organizations: the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Connecticut Society of Pediatric Dentists, the American Dental Association, the Connecticut Dental Association, and the Greater Danbury Dental Association.
Dr. Iwasaki is an attending dentist at Danbury Hospital, currently serving as section chief of Pediatric Dentistry.
When he’s not busy with these professional activities, Dr. Iwasaki enjoys playing tennis, golf, and skiing.
